I tend to cut most of my mortices with the router but from time to time fail to centre the bit precisely which if the piece with the tenon is supposed to be flush with the piece with the mortice is a problem as the result is a slight step at the shoulder and join.
Does anyone know where a centring bit can be bought, I tend to buy most of my stuff from the UK although I live in France. I have seen them for sale in the US but would prefer not to go down that route if at all possible. I don't know anyone with a lathe that could turn one for me either :(

Thanks all, I am too mean to buy a domino cutter I make my own loose tenons and cut the mortices with a router :D

A good tip Chris thanks.
