So my mate has a elga turret mill a Yugoslavian milling machine with faint bridgeport esq looks. The running joke is that it's not as good as my bridgeport which of course it is....

He mentioned the other day getting a picture of Josip Tito the Yugoslavian leader, to go beside it. As I owe him a birthday present I got him one and in due course will make a frame for it. I want to get a brass plauqe engraved to go on the frame.

I'm not the best at this sort of thing so wondered if anyone could come up with a funny line or two to go on the plauqe.


Something like

JOSIP BROZ TITO

personally approves of the elga mill, almost as good as a bridgeport......

Whoever designed that page may well have thought about the time on his watch and blanked it out but they missed the [Made in England] cast into the bed!
