It looks good to me with a nice ballance and finish.
As I have said before I have tried the method you used, once, and decided that it was too much like hard work. That for me makes what you have done even more impressive!

Finished well, and as said not the easiest and quickest thing to do without getting it wrong.
Safe and stable, look good in the right surroundings, like most 'designs' intended location/placing has a lot to do with style chosen.
