Just taken up 2 solid wood floors at a friends house and looks too good to throw away!
Its really heavy and hard...one light and one dark...came from two adjacent rooms..living/dining areas...
wondered if its possible to tell from pics-
...comments welcome!

If its Iroko sand it if the dust is horrible (more so than normal) smells horrible and the dust makes you you sneeze. Its Iroko. Not the health and safety way lol. Takes me back to being an apprentice schools used to use it for doors.
Could also be afromosia. that or teak will have an oily feel to it.
 
The dark one looks like keruing to me, especially if very very hard and heavy.
Often used for lorry backs in the past and for decking with a lap joint rather than T & G
