Oops...my mistake. I looked at 3:23 and not 3:53. It does look like a drill guide.

perfect that looks like the actual one he uses, thanks.

Something like this was one of the first thing we made as an engineering apprentices .All you need is a 30-40 mm square block of mild steel and just drill required size holes through.we made one for taps and one for tapping drills.
