Hi,

I run a business where we sell high quality poker tables through various online site and stores in the Uk.

At present we import the tables from Denmark and sometimes China (quality is poor)

I am looking for someone in the Uk who can make the different parts of the tables which we can then put together and finish off.

We are based in cumbria.

If vyou are interested in a joint venture of this kind please let me know and i can supply some pctures of past tables which will give a better idea of what we are looking for.

Thanks for your time and all the best.

Please either PM me or

Email for info

For further details

Welcome to the forum 'aplayer'.

It might be worth posting some pictures of the tables in question so the other members can see what is involved in making them.

Cheers

hmmm.....Cumbria eh?......scrums mind goes into hyperdrive and sees pound note signs......

Hi.

Thanks for the welcome.

Below are some pictures of the better quality tables.

We also need a basic table top which is really easy to make but would be nice to se it improved.

Anyone with ideas or new designs or ideas please let us know

As for the pound signs flashing, it's Cumbria not Dumbria.

We need a regular supply of tables and anyone who could make as the orders come in would be brilliant so we dont need to hold too much stock.

Thanks for the tip it did work.

The race track which is the section between the cloth and padded rail dosen't need to have that style it can be a flat surface also. So like it like the picture shows some don't.

The table needs to beable to come apart son the cloth can be changed if and when needed.

What i am looking for is affordable quality really.

Thanks again

We sell between 200 and 300 of these a year and expect more towards the end of 2007.

We also sell a cheaper table top version without legs made from ply or another cheap material. We expect to sell 700+ this year.

The demand should be a lot greater this year as pub poker is legal from September. We are looking at supplying them with "pub poker kits" personalized chips, tables, instructions etc.

It will save pubs having to pay for someone to run things for them.

Thanks.

ideally as said previously they would be made to order but we will carry some initial stock.

My suggestion would be to contact this outfit.

They specialise in making table componants and are geared up to exactly this kind of work. They are in the Manchester area, so not too far away.
