Hi guys

Went to swap out the blade in my Axi TS200 today and couldn't workout how to loosen the arbor nut. The arbor washer has 2 indentations on it. So I assume I need one spanner on that and one on the nut? Just checking before I go ballsing it up.

Cheers

Tom - if it's anything like the K419 setup, you need a very special, skinny spanner to fit on the left hand side of the arbour and a standard spanner to fit the nut on the saw itself - Rob

What Rob said.

Can I also point out that should you happen to loose that skinny spanner for a bit and decide to immobilise the blade with a metal rod resting on the table there is a good chance that when it slips slightly it will chip the end off one of the saw teeth. Don't ask me how I know  .

Thanks guys. Makes sense. Will try to see if Axi will send me a spanner.

Tom

we've got one of those at work so i can photocopy the manual - such as it is - for you (assuming i can find it of course) if you dont have one.

Cheers PEte that would be very kind of you. Tho I've heard it's as useful as perforated toilet paper. But you never know ;)

Block of scrap wood between tooth gullet and the edge of the table opening and spanner on the nut. Turn Clockwise

Simples!

no problem - its at the work workshop so it will be a few days before i can pick it up

it is indeed about as reliable and accurate as a politicians expenses claim, but i find that ignoring the write up and looking at the pics you can generally work out what to do.

wot 'e said , and its a 13mm spanner (no need for any specific thing)

Thanks guys. Finally got around to swapping out the blade today with a nice Freud. Went without a hitch. I also filed down the riving knife so it now sits below the top.
