At least 10 years later there is no sign of staining from damp penetration. I cut each panel to size and drilled the fixing holes before sealing thoroughly with at least 2 coats of CPES and then a 2 pack epoxy 'varnish'.From your photo it looks like your cabinets will be well sheltered - there appears to be a regular electric consumer unit o the same wall so excessive damp isn't an issue.
