Hi all.
Seeking advice on brass but hinges 64mm x 35mm. Ive been using Carlisle brass lately but have found that some of them are a bit out of square. Any one tried the Alexander & Wilkes?

Thanks

genuine question, I'm wondering in practical terms what the problem with a butt hinge being out of square is, given that you'll have a second hinge a distance away, thus keeping an even distance from the frame down the length of the door?. is it making the closed door sit out of alignment or is effecting the movement of the door?

I use the Alexander and Wilks hinges (they are part of Carlisle Brass) and find them to be generally good, you get the odd one that's a bit tight but size wise I have found them to be okay.

One good thing about them is that the screws they come with are actually useable (y)

They just don't sit in the recess very nicely. Its just annoying rather than anything.
