I am in a similar position. I can get a bewildering variety of soft white woods but in my mind they are all the same and I just think of "pine".I can get any timber I want, provided I want pine. I have been informed that I could order something in, but who would buy small amounts of hardwood, sight unseen, on the off-chance that it will be what you want? Besides, I would have to sell a child to afford it.
