Hi!
I'm after some advice and recommendations for a single bag extractor on casters that will effectively extract chip waste from a Sedgwick PT255 planer/thicknesser and finer stuff from a Hammer N4400 bandsaw. Bumped into a Startrite MDE - HCS extractor that had good specs but not cheap, and a Jet DC1100A online. Any users out there? Any other extractors you fine people can recommend that will fit the bill?
I'm a buy once kind of fella so not shy of paying for good quality and long life!
Also interested to know if a fine filter is necessary when extracting waste from these two machines or I can go ahead and get the best airflow possible without any detriment to my lungs and slightly less damage to my wallet. The rest of my power tool kit is Festool attached to ctl shop vacs.
Just to be clear, the extractor will be situated close to these machines in my little shop and will only ever be used on one process at a time. I need an extractor that will happily work with me day in day out in a professional capacity.
Your thoughts are much appreciated!
Cheers,
Pete
