Butt Hinges

Hi

Does anyone know of a decent supplier of chrome butt hinges, hopefully not too pricey though!

May sound a stupid question, however when ordering is it just a case of measuring the lenth and width of the old ones I want to replace?

Hi Phil p
Most suppliers will be able to sort you out with chrome hinges, if you're near Oxford then Oxon fastenings are excellent, best to give them a ring as the search function on the web is cr*p.
Measure the length of the hinge for most doors it'll either be 3 or 4 inches.

A good online option may be Ironmongery Direct. Satin chrome or polished chrome? I believe they have a specials facility if you can't find what you're after from stock.

last time i needed some, i used cooke brothers.

made in england, great quality, shipped direct.

not what i'd call cheap, but then i never skimp on hinge quality. less than a tenner each for an 80kg (i think i recall correctly) rated hinge.
