A bit too " Fred Flintstone" for my liking. :giggle: I have seen his other video on building the cabin which was quite impressive.

I'm hoping a bit of marital diplomacy could avoid the need for a bed in my workshop.
It's the woodworkers dream to actually live in the workshop.:)
I watched a couple of his cabin building videos a couple of years ago. The bed fits the general theme. Anyhow way the world is going those skills will be at a premium before long.

John

Yes I have seen his cabin build too.
What surprised me was that when he cut 1/2” off the end of that post he let it drop to the floor instead of chucking it on the fire behind him. He’s right about sheep’s wool though, our duvets are wool- super toasty.

The one thing I did notice about the build, was that the large mortice and tenons that hold the side rails in place were largely nullified by having such a huge rebate taken out to accommodate the slats. Only a thin section of this tenon will be actually holding the rail in place.
