Britains best woodworking Makita chop/mitre saw

So I’ve been watching Britains best woodworker. The Makita chop/Mitre saw looks enormous. I have googled and looked on tool stores but the maximum size I can see it 305mm with a max depth of cut of 107mm. Is this the saw or is it a new version I can’t yet see as it looks to be massive.

Can't help with what it actually is sorry, but had the same thought when watching Chloe use it yesterday - it looks like an absolute beast of a machine

Is it not the 1219 with laser guide? I think it is the guard that makes it look much bigger.

It could well be but it just looks bigger than a 305mm blade to me but I may be wrong

I did feel sorry for her when she felt it was all going to ratsh1t this week - we've all had things go wrong when working against the clock but it must be particularly character building when it's being filmed for entertainment value!

I don't know what her background is but she seems to have a stronger eye for design than some of the others.
