Hi everyone,
Two of the handles broke on my PMV-11 chisels cracked while chopping out mortices recently, it was 40mm oak and there were 24 of them so I was probably asking a bit much of them. After switching to a mortice chisel things went much more smoothly. I contacted LV where I had bought them and instead of sending me out new handles they sent me two entirely new chisels. Though I love tools I can't justify having two sets of Veritas chisels and more importantly as a poor cabinetmaker I actually need the money. So anyway, I've a 3/4" and 1", brand new, never even used, still in their boxes for sale. These came from Canada, I'm in Cumbria, and as far as I can see you can't even find a 1" in this country right now.
