Any recommendations? I've not turned any end grain stuff before so technique as well as inspirational design would be good.

I'll probably wait until club night before buying any as they have a few books for sale normally and may have one or two on box turning if I'm lucky.

Turned Boxes 50 designs by Chris Stott GMC Publications
Good book with some interesting designs. I like the way he doesn't think you need to know every tool cut once you're aware of the basics.

The Richard Raffan book is excellent - probably the best wood turning book I've seen. Borrowed a copy from our club library and now looking to buy one. I seem to remember both Robbie the Woodturner and Mike Waldt doing decent YouTube videos on box turning too. Just make sure your wood in nice and dry. I have a box or two which are inacessible because the lid's stuck firmly onto the bottom. I've learned my lesson :)
