Hi,

Just another box, from scrap peice of wood that floated down the road during this weekends floods.

Its a bit rough, but was good to get into the workshop .

and the floods that brought it,

Mornin' Loz, nice shape to the box, and as the timber was free makes it even better.

A couple of tips, IMO I think you need to spend some more time getting the edges, and corners, nice and crisp. Then take a bit more time with your sanding, sometimes sanding can take as long as turning the item. Good job though.

Now go out and see if you can find some more timber in that big puddle. Hope the water didn't get into your house, looks as if it could be nasty for some.

House was ok, Some others had an inch on the ground floor, could have been worse.

Re the peice however, its was still very damp, so letting it dry off and i'll sand by hand, and still needs a finish,

Glad to see someone was able to get a little pleasure out of the water ordeal.
Fortunately we missed the extremes of it down in West Cork, and what we did get was overnight.

Best of luck with the hand finishing, trying to keep the joint area gap consistent will be the most challenging I would think.
