I got a bonus at work...little more than expected and I have been wanting to upgrade my sliding mitre saw. I have always had my eyet on Bosch GCM 12 GDL 305mm Axial-Glide Mitre Saw, however, i saw the sliding version GCM 12 SDE Dual Bevel Mitre Saw. The only difference i can see is the Glide vs slide and the 20cm in depth.....Is there anything i am missing?

except the price you mean?
Yes... it's a much newer model, no-play , more accurate, easier to lug around ,obv. takes much less space on table and isn't as load.. also re-sale value for them are crazy good. I'm looking to purchase that saw as well btw, wouldn't really save around 150 to get less of a saw when you are already spending quite A LOT on it!

where are you purchasing it from?
it's 699 from ATC , https://www.angliatoolcentre.co.uk/bosc ... 38667.html
+ about £35 discount when you use code for 5% off: 72SUCVZ
so about £665 all said and done, the regular gcm12 goes for like 499?

btw My bosch mitre saw is 16years old , I bought it new, not sure how many times I have changed the blade already but I use that tool at least few times every week.. So yeah... That purchase really isn't only for 1 day so not worth to scrimp in my opinion ;)
