Hi Mike,
We use farrow and ball mainly, sometime little greene paint co. However this is Oratory which I think was a mylands colour.
We do 2 coats of primer and then a colour, then a hand painter does 2 coats on site.

This surprises me. Do you find it hardy enough for a kitchen? It wipes off walls with a damp cloth.

We don't use emulsion on a kitchen (I can see you imagining a greasy decorator rollering it on ), it's the eggshell finish

I've a few questions if you don't mind....do you use MR MDF for the doors or tulip?
From what I can see in the photos it looks like the hinges are only let into the doors....I'm still letting them in to door and frame, am I creating my self too much work?
And the tops? Are they neolith or simular?

Material for doors is clients choice, we work with both.
I only let into doors.
Tops are composite ceasarstone.

Why only let the hinges into the doors? I'd think with a cock bead they'd look better let into the frame in line with the bead? (this is in no way way a criticism, of course. )

Used to, now we ask for a bare room with services in to our service plan.

I'll never do kitchens, because I'm juggling offshore work with the furniture stuff, but if I did that'd be the style I'd do.

I think grey is here to stay, it's such a good colour to bounce other more vibrant shades from.

In 2010 we painted our living room walls, skirts, door frame and door in 18% grey (you'll know what that is if you're into photography :wink: ) and all our friends though we were mental. Then the colour was everywhere.

Not convinced on that, colours are changing now, blues are in.
