bobbing sander disaster or opportunity

This is how it arrived the ebay seller sent back all the money so i straightened the fan under the bobbing sleave and made a box to rehouse the mechanics it works fine so difficult to beat for the price i seem to be getting quite lucky in my old age

As long as it still works and all the 'insides' are still in good condition, I don't see why you can't make something of this.

Seems like you have the technology and have rebuilt it, well done, yours will probably be stronger than the original plastic casing. 8)
