Blum hinge mounting plates

Hi all

Has anyone ever used Blum mounting plates that aren’t the standard 0mm spacing? I need some 9mm spacing ones for some 170 degree wardrobe door hinges which I haven’t used before. Would mounting the standard 0mm spacing mounting plates on a small block of wood to move them in by say 10mm do the same trick?

Fitting the 0mm plate to a 9mm block of wood gives the same offset as using a 9mm mounting plate.

That’s great Doug thanks. I wasn’t sure if the mounting plates had slight differences too but if it’s just a case of fitting the plates to some 9mm mdf I’ll give that a go. Cheers!
