Got myself a Tormek T7 and had a sharpening session today.

What angle is the Stanley block 60 1/2 supplied at?

Also the Stanley bullnose 90 ?

BTW, my chisels are now cutting paper across it edge.

Thanks Alf. They sliced the paper OK, but pulled up some maple on my drawer fronts.

I think the old angle before using the Tormek was 30 and that was OK, but 25 is what I used to sharpen and I am a bit disappointed.

I wouldn't judge anything by maple. I was working on an edge piece the other day that was just about impossible. I ended up using a LN 90º edge plane set very fine, and it still went squirly.

Thanks Smudger, planed some softwood and the angle and cut was sweet, chisels chop down without much effort as well.
