Black patina

Hi I probably wrote on this before but thought would be good to check in and see if anyone has any good solution product they may have come across recently.

I just tried Haemotite by Tiranti a solution avail from the London store. Not great.
I removed surface completely using grinder and flap disc. Also some wire wheel, worked a bit but certainly not black.

So ya, any recommendations?

You used to be able to buy Blackodizing salts which were the best. I'm not 100% certain they even make it anymore, let alone be able to find someone to sell it to you.

Ive used the black oxide kits from Casswell with reasonable results, its a bit of a chew.
I recently tried gun blueing and quite like it, the result is quick and easy
