I've just spent a couple of hours Googling UK sources for maybe PVC, but ideally clear polyurethane spiral reinforced flexible hose to connect my machines to the new Bill Pentz dust system. It needs to be smooth bore, and resistant to damage when walked on.

Quantities are about 12m of 160mm bore, 3m of 125mm and 2m of 100mm plus some allowance for cutting - i have a list of lengths.

There seem to be two basic options - equipment suppliers who offer hose as just another product in limited sizes and at higher prices, and specialist industrial suppliers of flexible ducting/suction hose. I'm set up with a VAT number and the like to deal with the latter guys.

I've put together a good listing of them which anybody asking is welcome to a copy of.

The latter are probably more competitive, but generally don't publish prices on the web so i'm looking at a telephone session to get this information.

Does anybody have any suggestions on where to start looking?

Thanks in advance,

ian

For the fixed lengths metal ducting is meant to be cheaper, have you looked into that?

For 100m flexible hose I just bought this which extends to 20feet and is very cheap at the mo.
