Unfortunately came away several kilos underweight for import restriction reasons, very little native timber available anyway.

Mind you sitting looking at this 3mtr.dia x 40mtrH&W, specimen of Albizia lebbeck, (women's-tongue) whilst supping the obligatory refreshment every day was rather a strain.

Interestingly the better quality wooden home structures use Guyanan Greenheart frames and Purpleheart cladding (termite resistant) and I suspect a considerable amount of the newer Mahogany work is actually Iroko.

Found out this morning at Gatwick, for some reason did not see the need to switch on the telly for the last 9 days or so.
