He's a scroller, it doesn't produce much dust! The lathe thou does so he's doing well there. Give him a router and some edge mouldings to do an then see how tidy it is. :)

OK - I'll beat it with some pics of a friend of mine's shop in Melbourne, Oz. They're here. All cabinets, etc. made in the shop. Note the roller stand! :)

thats not a proper workshop. hasn't been lived in at all.

I'd soon mess it up

But how do you ever lose anything in all that? That's where most of my thinking time comes from - hunting out the marking gauge from under the pile of shavings in the corner.

Her's a pic of RI's 'shop with a project being cramped. Although you can't see it from this pic, his 'shop is about as big as an aircraft hanger ...well a small one (about 30x10m iIrc) and it all looks like the pic  Note the use of proper cramps  - Rob

I like his clear fronted tool cabinets - may have to nick that idea as everything gets covered in shavings i my ' shop

eww, they make me feel nervous, it's like a dentist's surgery. The clear fronted cabinet for a jigsaw is just a step too far!
