In order to keep things separate, seeing that there now appear to be two Bashes in the offing, I have started this new thread. Mods could you make it sticky please?

The location is my gaff, just south of Cambridge. You can get the address from my website.

Nick,
I generous offer & would have liked to see Colin's veneering demo. I expect to have emigrated  by then so I doubt I will be able to make it.

Andy

Looking forward to it already. What kind of demos can we rustle up? I'm sure Graham would bring his small lathe along if he's free.........

I voted 1st but 8th also ok for me, any later and I could be dragging a newborn with me ;)

Nick - I've gone for the 1st as we're away on our hols on the 7th and not back until much later in the month. Happy to offer something in the way of a demo, not sure what tho' - Rob

Would love to - but all the way over here to all the way over there equates to not a hope in Hades. :( Plus there'd be a very real danger I'd be drawn right past to Needham Market...

Cheers, Alf

OK Alf, I can save you a bit of the trip.

I've just spoken to Mike Hancock, and can let you all know that Classic Hand Tools will be present at the bash. In order to make that happen, the date is now fixed as Saturday 1st September 2007.

Its missing a option which is "I'd love to come, but due to families/jobs/other I'm not sure if I cam make it until closer to the time.

Which is me. If I can make it, I'd love to come. :)

Oh hell - that makes it much, much worse. ](*,)

I wonder if it could be arranged that England gets severed at the Tamar and spun round a bit to improve the geography - just for the day. :-k

Cheers, Alf

If anyone has something in particular that they would like Classic Hand Tools to bring along, please send a request to [email protected] mentioning the Big Bash.

Colin C has kindly (been) volunteered to do demos on veneering and carving. Any other offers?

As the date has been fixed there does not appear to be much point in voting. I would love to come and meet everybody. Its a fair jaunt from Redditch, anybody else live this way who would like a lift?

Alf - I'm sure that if you can get to Poole or Salisbury, something could be arranged re transport....mind you, don't forget your Passport for crossing the Tamar    - Rob

Really sorry but I won't be able to come this year.

All good wishes to those who can make it to the bash. Have a good one.

Regards.
