Barrel hinges

I am looking for some small concealed Barrel hinges for some Jewellry boxes but am struggling to find any in the UK.

Any help very much appreciated

They're the ones Paul, I was hoping for 8mm, do you think the 10mm will be OK inserted into 12.5mm thick box sides.

Maybe i'll be better off with these from Rockler for $8 a pair

I would have thought that was pushing your luck a bit :shock: It would give you only just over 1mm each side of the hinge. If you can't get 8mm, I think I would go for something else.

I reckon your'e right Paul, even if I got 8mm ones I don't think they would be robust enough, it looks as though I will go for those from Rockler, unless anyone knows anywhere in the uk apart from brusso which are a little too expensive.

Try Relics of Witney they have cheaper versions of the quadrant hinges which I have found to be quite good

Kevin, I have some of those hinges and they're not quite up to the job as I want them to stop at about 95 deg

gasman, I thought I might get some of these but have gone against what I said and ordered some Brusso stop hinges I thought I would push the boat out as one is for my Daughters 21st one for my Mother-in-laws 80th another for my Mum as she is hard to please :roll: and my wife can have the other (the one I make all the mistakes on)

If I ever make these to sell, the price would have to be around £250 :shock:
