How Lucky are this couple!!!!

A New York man retired, wanted to use his retirement money wisely, so it

would last, and decided to buy a home and a few acres in Portugal. The

modest farmhouse had been vacant for 15 yrs.; the owner and wife both

had died, and there were no heirs. The house was sold to pay taxes.

There had been several lookers, but the large barn had steel doors, and

they had been welded shut. Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to

see what was in the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property

anyway......so, nobody

made an offer on the place. The NY guy bought it at just over half of

the property's worth, moved in, and set about to tear in to the

barn.......curiosity was killing him. So, he and his wife bought a

generator, and a couple of grinders.......and cut thru the welds. What

was in the barn............?

Go to; www.intuh.net/barnfinds/afa70.htm and start wishing it had been

you who bought the place

Its worth tacking the time to go through all the finds.

wow, luck is an amazing thing.

You could spend the rest of your life, leisurely renovating those cars and selling them for pocket money. Bliss.

I wonder where the keys are too all of those? If not in the cars, it'll be a pipper to fit new ignition and keys!

What a great find though, thats better than winning the lottery!

Seeing the Alfa Giulietta brought back some very happy memories.

My wife said, "do you know you're sitting there with your mouth open ?"

There's always one doom-bringer in the pack! I bet you were told Father Christmas and the easter-bunny weren't real when you were about 4 or 5! :)

(I'm just joking btw)

Well I know that the tooth fairy is real, as she visited my granddaughter at the weekend.

did he/she leave anything decent? Like a festool sander, or a holtey plane ? I guess there would be many toothless woodworker if that were the case :)

whether it's real or not... i'm bloody jealous! just one of the Elans would do me, let alone all the other stuff

I would personally take the lotus7 - that has always been my dream car (Along with the Elise, that I vow one day I shall own).

I applaud one man's brave effort to relieve congestion, pollution and society of the blight that is the motor car. Question is, where are the bodies?
