Found Bandsaw wanted.

Hello looking for a bandsaw, Hampshire based. Nothing too big, single phase, preferably bench mounted or removable stand. If you are upgrading to something big and have a good used smaller machine, please let me know. Two speed would be good but not essential. Kity 613 would be great. All sorted hopefully, thanks for looking.

I have an Axminster HBS250N 10" bandsaw that I bought new but have used very little. It's in excellent condition and will come with several assorted blades and a nice fitting mitre gauge. A notable point is that it has ball bearing blade guides top and bottom. You can view and/or download the manual from :

I junked the pressed steel cabinet stand not long after I started using it. It just wasn't robust enough. I have it on a timber fabricated wheeled stand right now.

As it happens I removed the table earlier today so I could take photos of the blade guides. I then totally forgot to do so. I will be taking a full set of photos ASP. I'll also be more specific about the spare blades.

I'm in Andover, just off the A303. The other end of Hampshire, but would be easy journey for you.

Above please note the tension wheel has been replaced at some point although it works ok its a little stiff that could be because it's been sitting about in the shed for some time I have started the bandsaw and it sounds nice any interest on here leave me know £400 no offers I will leave this here for a week then advertise it elsewhere for £450 £475 collection would be Neath South Wales

Hello,
This is an old post and I am well sorted now thanks. I now have a wonderful Startrite 301 which is fab, one careful owner from new fitted with a custom roller on base for moving and a good dust extraction attachment. Much better built than the Kity machine once had.
