Hi all, i'm new to the forum albeit i have been reading the posts for quite some time.i recently bought an Axminster ts 200 primarily because it was within my price range but also because a lot of the forum members here thought it a relatively good table saw.Anyway, the saw duly arrived from Axminster and was built up as per the instructions however on using the fence i found it to be out about 2mm along its length and as there is no adjustment on the fence i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did about it.Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Check that it's all properly seated together and there's no gaps between where the aluminium extrusion sits down on the cast clamping part. Next check that there's nothing in between the clamping surface and the aluminium rail on the saw, if it's neither of those you can either file material off the clamp to bring it back square or ask Axminster if they think it's ok for it to be that far out, they will probably replace it for you. You will find that it marks the front rail which has driven me mad and is a bit too short, so I'm in the process of making a new fence

If its the same as my Kity 419 (which I think it is) then the adjustment for parallel is with the rail across the front within the slotted holes.

Cheers, Ed

Thanks for your input guys>I have solved the problem temporarily using masking tape inside the fence clamp which takes up the play. This will obviously be until i get time to re align the clamp rails. Thanks again :D
