Hi.
I'm trying to find anyone with knowledge of the Axminster PT260 planer thicknesser.
It says it has 10" planer, 6" thicknesser. I assume the 10" is the planer width, but not sure what the 6" thicknesser is. Is that the width or height or both? The guy selling thinks its 6"x 6", but I don't understand why Axminster would make a combi machine that couldn't thickness the board you have just planed.
Can anyone shed any light? Thanks.

It will plane a board 10" wide X any thickness. This operation is done on top of the tables, so the thickness is in theory infinite. It will thickness a board up to 60mm. This is done under the tables, So is restricted by the gap. Max width is 10" again.

150mm is 5.9 inches

or;
6" is 152 mm.

easy approximate conversion adequate for every day conversation.

Many thanks Marcros.
That's what I suspected.
And..
I did notice that it does say only inches on the sticker on the side of the machine, but only the mm specs in the docs. There's nothing like consistency, and it's nothing like consistency.
Thanks again.
