Hi
I have one of these old beasts (second hand).
I have spent a long time getting the infeed and outfeed tables co-planar, but now I have a problem with the thicknessing. It's not even - one side of the stock comes out about half a mm thicker than the other. The knives are set properly (with the supplied tool) and they are straight. I would have imagined that the thicknessing table would be fixed in the same plane as the cutter block, and so not easily adjustable. I guess I can try to change the cutter block position, but would appreciate any advice about anything else I might try.

Don't know if it helps but I had one of those and always made sure I put the wood through in the middle of the thicknesser as the thicknesser table never seemed that solid, I always felt that if I put the wood through towards the edge the table would dip down causing the wood to be tapered across its width.

I just did a quick search and this came up.

Thanks - that thread is very useful. The first thing to check is whether the thicknessing table is coplanar with the block axis
