Has anyone been having problems with Axminster's customer service ??

I called this morning regarding a problem with a recent purchase, and the service has abysmal compared with what I've received in the past.

That is surprising to hear. What exactly was the problem?

One of their guys is a forum member here, so, when he reads this message and sure he'll get in touch and do whatever he can to assist you. :)

Problem was with the customer service operator -

I think it's all been resolved now, but as I told Richard - its left me with a negative feeling about a company that up to now I was very happy with and would have used anytime.

Glad to hear it, I just bought an P/T from them they best be as good as Ive read about!

Hi,

Sorry you have not received our normal level of service. We take all complaints very seriously and this will be investigated in due course. I have double checked your query and the spare parts should be with you tomorrow morning.

I hope this will not cloud your judgment of Axminster in the future.

Best Regards,

Richard.

I have always found the service from Axminster to be exceptional...just the other day I received an order with a missing item and got on the phone and the item was with me the very next day which I was very happy about.
So its a shame you had a negative experience.

As said above I usually find the service from Axminster very good. I always feel comfortable speaking with staff with a West Country accent. Only once, a long time ago my call was answered by someone who didn't have a West Country accent, that call didn't go too well but as also said above everyone has occassional 'off' days.

I think Richard is to be admired for posting on here, I know a lot of people wouldn't do it.

The needed replacement parts arrived yesterday as promised by Axminster and now have a working Saw again.

On the point about accents by a previous poster - I'd have to agree.

Richard, many thanks for help
