small benchtop 'jointers' are scarce. Thisone from Axminster is the best I could find when I was looking at going this route. 6 Inch just seemed too small to be usable
I had one of those thicknessing jigs once. I'm not that fond of anything that incorporates a hand power planer. Noisy, dusty, scary things I've always thought, best left for cleaning up painted or abrasive surfaces.

Looks like I'll have to saunter up the hill one lunch time this week.
Should just do what I do..... get yourself employed in a big heavily machined up workshop and do all the machining up there! :lol: It works a treat! :wink:
Bringing this one back to life as I've noticed a large number of axminster products on the bay coming from leamington spa. Has anybody been to this place yet?
