Ah ...........yes ............ I have a very small anvil with a hardy hole. Swmbo wants a barbecue built, so as I already have compressor I said OK as long as I can build a dual purpose barbecue/forge.:LOL:
A larger anvil might be in the offing.
 
Does no one remember what this tool was designed to do ?
Removing rusted nuts where you don't have a spanner to fit ..
Removing bearings from a shaft by splitting the bearing ...
So many applications - if you just stop and think.
 
Yes, I know what they're for. I have several that are worn very short, misshapen, mushroomed etc. and just wondered if they could be reused for anything. Anything other than a cold chisel.
 
does this count.....
somehow ended up with loads'a bolster's.....
made a press tool for bending 3-4mm steel agle brackets.....
PS. thats not my welding.....
the rest of all the heavy unwanted chisels and junk are used as ballast under my rolling drill press trollies....
need to tidy up soon.......ooops....
