Are orders sent between christmas and new year?

I made an order yesterday by phone. I mused the phone instead of online to ask if next day delivery was still available due it being so close to Christmas. I was told it was great. Got a phone call this morning to say the couriers had finshed for christmas I wasn't here to get the call at the time. Will the delivery be made between christmas and new year or will it be after new year?

who did you order it from.

If axminster say, they use ANC (?) so you could give them a ring to ask for closing dates

Ordered from PS-Tools. Just phoned them and was told the parcel was collected today by a different courier (didn't state which) and it should arrive next week.
