Finally got to do some turning today, first serious go this year :D
So thought i would do some fruit, after my first attempt at an Apple last week thought i would have a go at a Pear,so made a pair  and a couple more Apples.
Timbers used were Spalted Sycamore, and Tulipwood, and Laburnum for the stalks.
All finished with Lemon oil.

Good enough to eat, very app-eal-ing.
Sounds like you've been talking to Graham. Talking of which (or whom) have you heard from him lately?

pete
Yes Pete, joined him for lunch and put the world to rites over the new year.

Thanks for your comments :D
Forgot to say that i just turned these from memory, again.
Just kept taking bits off till they looked right to me,which i think is the best way to do them.

They appear to be Chas

Great work Paul-I really like the apple and pear on the far right in the top photo, what wood are they and are they spoken for?
the photo's look good too

Thank you all for your comments.Glad you like em :D
They are fun to do,and something different for me.
Went into production mode doing them by doing all the seperate stages at one time.Cut about thirty blanks fifteen of each, making the Pears about 4-1/2" long.Saves changing over all the time.

Have you considered colouring these?
I have Johnny, but at the moment i prefer the natural finish.I don't think i am artistic enough to paint them looking real.
