Everything is a bargain on eBay until 30secs before the auction ends. :)

Or until someone posts the details on here and alerts the 5000 people most likely to bid on the item

I don't think so, as if 5000 peeps want one of these and if they did, they would have already searched ebay and the rest of the internet

I expect that the infeed and outfeed tables are out of adjustment and impossible to bring into alignment. The tables will be pitted with rust. The blades will have great nicks out of them.

The rollers on the thicknesser will put indentations into the workpiece. The NVR switch will be intermittent. The fence will be twisted and never be made to be 90 degrees to the table...and you'd have to decide which table you wanted it 90 degrees to...even if you were able to adjust it...given that the two tables will be out of whack.

Not that I'm trying to put anyone off, you understand

Yes but don't forget with it being Ebay it will proberbly fetch between
£50 and £100 over the list price. So not that bad really...............

Brought the Axminster ADE 4000 dust extractor from this seller a few weeks back, it was almost new and I got it for £87 a real bargin.
He had a small joinery shop but has had to give it up because of medical reasons, so he is slowly selling stuff off.

Plug, you saying he sold you a £400+ extractor for £87 less Ebays costs. So he got maybe £65?

Yes, I saw the item with about 6 hours left on it, 3 people bidding, was up to £56 I put in my max bid of £100 and won it. Picked it up couple of days later.
It is very clean, hardly been used, if I did not already have a p/t I would buy the one he is selling.

It doesn't have the cast iron fence.

Out of curiosity, are there any 10" planers out there (without the thicknesser)?
