;Had some spam from Axminster.

Whatt accessories do I need to sharpen chisels, plane irons from 1" to 2 1/2" and turning tools?

Does it do what you expect perfectly?

Never used one- looks like a Tormek?

I recently got a Worksharp jobbie and they are the nuts IMO. Much quicker than anythng i've ever used and flawless results.

It is not spam, they have your email address on their list, you gave it to them, if you don't want emails from them they will remove it.

It comes with a jig for flat blades, chisels and plane irons, for turning tools you can buy more jigs to suit the different tools you may have.

There is a learning curve, not very steep, it does work very well, I have one bought for me some years ago as a present by the LOML, I use it more and more having bought extra jigs to cover the wider range of tools I now have and use.

Thanks Davel, what do you call emails that are solely advertising products, I call them spam, but sometimes I am pleased to receive them and sometimes the wife is not? :)

So when you grind the chisel as an example, do you put a 25 degree angle on and then finish off on a stone for the 30 degree bevel, which I have always been used too. Or do you redo another angle for the 30d. on the wheel?

Watching a demonstrator grinding a chisel at Yandles he seemed to be putting on a lot of pressure to hold the chisel to the wheel, is this a necessity for this sort of sharpening tool? (a similar product)

I grind chisels to 24° and then use a honing guide (Veritas MkII) on ceramic stones to finish the job at 25° and when require a micro bevel of 27°.

This allows me the keep the edges sharp by hand very quickly during a job, only using the wet grinder after a number of retouches on the stones by hand.
With care you can produce an edge that is usable straight from the wet grinder but I already had the other kit and old habits die hard.

The Jet/Sheppach/Tormek is nice to have but a luxury IMHO. A dry , honing jig and your choice of abrasive is all you need.
