I know of someone who is looking to sell a lathe.
A client of mine is sellings his father's lathe on behalf of his mother.
its a woodcraft MC908 which is 15 years old and hasn't been used for the last 8 years.
I was going to buy it but its just too big for me and, its located near Portsmouth which is just too far.
its a floor mounted unit on a dedicated stand and as far as i know its in working order.
I checked with Craft Supplies who were the distributors and was told its the model they still use in their school in france and that its a good machine. Its now a discontinued model but spares are readily available if required.
I haven't yet told my client that i'm not buying it but would be happy to tell him there may be some interested parties so anyone interested please PM me for further information and some pics that the client e-mailed to me.
