I was trawling through E-bay and stumbled upon this

I have been trying to find out about the product and the manufacturer but seem to have hit a brick wall. I have e-mailed the seller and a previous buyer but neither have replied yet. Any suggestions?[/url]

Have seen these before and at my local dealer. HEC is the manufacturer, based in mainland China. They have a full range of machinery, bandsaws, sanders etc. This saw is based on a American contractors' model, with the motor hanging out the back. As the ad mentions table is cast iron. They appear good value for money (retail circa £500 + or with vat, can't recall). Last time I looked at one they seemed ok, especially for that sort of money although obviously a bit rough around the edges. Can't testify as to accuracy etc but haven't heard anything negative about them. Try some local tool dealers, should be a stockist near you.

Wow, finally looks like something remotley worth buying for the price!

Cast iron, looks solid - Seen that rip fence system!!

Wish i had the room!! Just like the american contractor saws, although I wouldnt like to lug that to a building site! :roll:

the seller is air pinner direct in st albans

i got 3 of my nail guns there.

they have loads of stuff that they import and they keep stainless steel nails for guns in sizes from 23gauge headless pins to 90mm nails
