Anyone repaired a nail gun?

I’ve had my Axminster air gun for firing 18 gauge brads for sometime and it’s been tremendous. Occasionally I get a brad stuck but the solution is simple by removing the capping screws and removing the brad.

Today it wouldn’t fire as air was being released from up near the back on the side.

Has anyone else had this symptom with theirs and how did you repair it?

Is it constantly leaking air out of the backside of the gun? Sounds like an O-ring inside has perished and should be a simple repair by stripping out the back end and replacing it.

Thank you Trevanion...I looked at the rubber seals and they seem to be ok, but perhaps it’s best to change them anyway. There’s not much in them, so hopefully new rings may make the difference?
