I've used Ronseals brushing wax on a desk and am now ready to start finishing a wardrobe I've been making but I want to spray finish it. The book I bought on spraying says you can spray anything you can brush. But I wanted a bit of an opinion before I try it. So what do you think can I spray this?

Ronseal Wood Dye

yes you can spray it, if i remember rightly ronseal wood dye is water based- you could use hvlp or airless- hvlp would give the best most controlable results.

Thanks George, I have HVLP now so I'll get a tin an start spraying this weekend.

Whilst generally true, and I don't want to dispute anything about this product in particular, can I just point out that some products will behave differently when sprayed.
I'm thinking of a two-pack polyurethane that used to be made by a company I know of. Brushing it was fine, as was spraying it, but when sprayed it released isocyanates so extra care needs to be taken.
This is an extreme example but worth thinking about.
