Just wondering if anyone's got one of these ? I've just ordered one for site work.

I'm hoping I can get some tuffsaw blades in time, instruction book says either 1/4 or 3/8 but I'm hoping it might take slightly smaller or slighter bigger to make it a little more useful.
Thanks

Hi
Used to have the Titan screwfix equivalent shown, b4 there latest upgrade, same maker I reckon.
I had mine for 6 years and used it for basic cutting while making bird boxes and solitary bee boxes. Worked great for me, the secret is setting up correctly and working within its capabilities.
Used up to 1/2" and 1/4" starret blades never tried smaller.

That's interesting to hear you used a 1/2 inch blade on it- I might have to try one. I agree, your titan looks an identical clone. Did you ever manage to stall the motor or did it seem o.k for power ?
Thanks

The thickest I ever cut was 75mm round fence posts which didn't give it a problem. Oh yeah easy but this is a lower level entry and wont take much misuse. The on thing I made a found great was a cross cut sled. The fence is useless unless you check squareness with every set up. I even also made a hardwood T bar for the mitre as that wasa sloppy fit.
Worked a treat after that did what I wanted it to do till i decided I wanted to do other stuff.Which it wasn't capable of, can't fault it for what I wanted it for.

Sounds like its possible to make a usable machine out of it then. Thanks for sharing your experience with it.
