Here is my latest creation, a shoe cabinet made in MDF. It is for a customer and will be painted white.

Almost ready for the finish now. :D

Nice job, looks like it'll work well. :)

I like how the bottom draw almost "folds" out, rather than being a slider.

Finished and delivered at last. Here is the final article ready for the finish. Glad to say the customer was very happy with it and it looks like more work in the future too. :D

Alan,
It looks very smart!

How did you get the sharp corners in the "fielded" panels - I presume you routed these from the solid MDF (apart from the corners?)

No Chris, they are rail and stile panels. I did think about routing them out of solid but decided against this for the rounded corners. Thanks for the comments. :D

I'm puzzled about your construction Mailee. The bottom drawer overlays the base of the frame but the middle drawer in on top of the shelf with the hinges showing. Very nice finish, must try some spraying.

Well Shultzy if I had overlaid the top door it would have bottomed out on the lower drawer when open without a large gap between the doors. I decided to go for this design which would allow enough room between the doors keeping the same size to each door. I was limited to the height of the unit by the customer.
