Another little table

As much as I liked the little table I made last week (the thread is here) , a friend who came round offered me £50 for it and I sold it(didn't take much persuading :roll: ). So today I made another one for myself. The good thing being I got to change what I wasn't so keen on with the first, the differences being, a more domed base, a slightly narrower leg,the top being a bit more wide than the base and the whole thing being an inch higher( the height of our chairs seats).



Its sycamore again and a hard wax finish.Your thoughts appreciated.

I`d not seen your previous table, but i do like the proportions of this one.
The Sycamore looks very striking as well.

I liked your first one, and this one is at least equal to it, if not better 8) 8)
Fantastic that you got a 'sale' for #1 ... that must be a satisfying thing to achieve.

I seem to be able to 'give plenty away' .. but no-one's ever mentioned any 'folding' :wink: So well done on that front too.. thats excellent !

That sycamore is absolutely wonderful....
All the sycamore I have had, whilst being nice enough, is very 'standard' and perhaps a little bland ... it has its place of course, but it never jumps out of the stockpile shouting 'turn me, turn me.. me me me me , turn me'
Yours on the other hand, is absolutely stunning., and you are, (in my humblest of inexperienced opinions), doing it 'proud'.

Do I sense a production line coming on here? Perhaps a matching pair.....King & queen.

I think I prefer this one to the irst though both are great. This one seems a little more sophisticated, perhaps less bulky

Thanks everyone, I like this one better myself than the first,but SWMBO and I are back to should we use it or sell it lol.

Pete don't know about a production line :lol: but they are nice to make,well I'm enjoying myself anyway.
