An Excavator for the Great Grandson

As per the title I made this for the great grandson who loves diggers. It is just waiting for him and his mum and dad to return from their holiday.

Made mainly with tulipwood, cherry and lots of mahogany from the scrap bin.

Yes they do those took me a few days to cut out and glue the parts together. some photos of the tracks being made. 6 parts to each link that includes the pin

That's really a tribute.
Can you arrange with a local " digger " to have this lucky kid actually drive a real one?
It will be a memory he would always have - because you have given him his own digger.
I bet you it will stay with him forever.
