An easy option for MFT's

Surprised no ones brought this up, Benchdogs now sell MFT tops and in Medite or Valchromate. Std size of 1102 x 718 x 18mm or custom sizes upto 8 by 4 but then collection only.

The prices seem reasonable but much better if you can collect, so for many this might still mean that making your own is the best option but sometimes just buying a ready made item with known accuracy is an easy option. Maybe if you are having a vacation down that way in your camper van then you could pick one up !

I think it’s a recent addition to benchdogs offering hence why it’s not been mentioned.

It is also worth mentioning the Metabo MWB100 which is launching in the UK very soon and has garnered a lot of interest from @petermillard ‘s member forum for the very competitive price point for a mobile MFT

I bought an MFT from www.cncdesign.co.uk - it's described as a Festool replacement but I just used it to top a bench frame I made. Pretty good quality and price.

Yes the metabo is similar to the wolfcraft but should fix all the flaws of the wolfcraft
