Amy's horse

Here's my cutting of Amy's horse from a pattern designed by Birchbark over at the Scrollsaw village. It's 10" x 8" 1/8th ply, with white card behind just for the photo, finished with Danish oil. Cut on my Hobbies A1 treadle fretsaw using Olson 2/0 crown tooth blades in just under 3 hrs. As usual apologies for the photo, using the phone again.

Very nice Steve. On the treadle saw? You must be a masochist.

Not really Martin, I need the exercise, I've got muscles aching in my legs that I didn't know I've got, also I can top feed the blade on the A1 and find that I have better control on the treadle when cutting less than 1/4".

I couldn't get enough tension on the blade on mine to do any serious cutting. It'll have to wait until I can get my mitts on the proper clamps to copy them.
